History of Property
The Weston Farm property was at one time owned by James Noah H. Slee who invented 3-in-One oil in that little red can. His second wife was Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, who used his wealth for her crusade. The property was later sold to the Ursuline nuns for a convent.
There is the 100s Years old cattle path in our farm for connecting Beacon and Glenham for feeding Washington’s troops during war.

ウエストンファームの土地は、 3-in-One oilで知られる石油王ジェームズ・ノーア・スリーJames Noah H. Sleeが所有し、1922年に後のPlanned Parenthoodの創設者マーガレット・ヒギンズ・サンガー Margaret Higgins Sangerと再婚。ノーア・スリーの富をマーガレット・サンガーの思想活動 ”子供をいかにして、何時産むかを女性自身が決定する権利がある”につぎ込んだ。
ウエストンファームの土地の内に、かつてワシントン軍に食料を運ぶ為のビーコンとグレナムをつなぐ農道や、牛の飲み水用貯水池が今も残っています。
