or as GESS,PARENTAGE: The parents of Magdalene GUEST are Lewis GUEST, butcher of Kings Co., NY and m. 18 July 1772 Jane Van SICKLEN “spinster of Suffolk Co., NY”,It is an important clue that Magdalene’s sister Jane named one of her children Charity “Van Seckel” SNEDIKER, Is found as GESS, in Jamaica RDC baptisms of her children, see note below. Inscriptions 1-25] Lewis GUEST d. 13 Apr 1848 age 76 (so b.1772) col. 5 p.73 says “bro. of Magdalene Van Wicklen” (revised list).
